This is when we started!
Zariba started at 2007 as an outsourcing company specialized in games and entertainment. Our first client was Harcourt Publishing with the iTools project a complex interactive math educational software for kids.
We worked also with Walt Disney Internet Group
We developed a multiplayer social game platform for kids called Disney Channel Games Online,
the Disney Princess franchise, CDROM game based on the Handy Manny franchise and also several small web games for the Hannah Montana show.
After that we created a CDROM and Web game featuring the Elmo character from the Sesame Street TV show.
Zariba Games was born!
Meanwhile we started developing a multiplayer web game social platform called ZaribaGames (now can be seen here: www.belotbg.com).
The platform featured 15 games including Chess, Dominos, Belote and several other card games, action games and more. All the games were realtime multiplayer. At the time of the launch (2009) it was one of the few realtime multiplayer web platforms worldwide.
Mobile games development for iPhone and iPad
At the same time we started developing a new team for mobile games development and specifically for iPhones and iPads. We found the right people on the right spot for creating games that became later very popular.
Big Brain Quiz is launched
We developed one quiz game called Big Brain Quiz that became very popular in the US. Later that same game open the path for some other quiz games, but this time localized - Pub Quiz, Denksport Quiz, Le Défi des Cerveaux. The last one became number 1 in France!
QA team in the Philippines
In 2012 we were already more than 40 people and we just opened a QA team in the Philippines. Zariba also was listed in the Bulgarian Top 100 leading companies by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
